Bariatric Surgery: Lucy’s Story Video

Rush Powers Media collaborated with Rush University Medical Center to create a bariatric patient success story video. The video includes a testimonial interview with a patient, photos provided by the patient, and informational interviews and supporting b-roll with members of the Rush weight loss and bariatric surgery team. Our role in the project included project management, creative development, shooting and conducting all interviews, capturing reenactments and other supporting b-roll, video storytelling and editing, and delivery of the video in a web-ready format. The video was a Gold Winner for Web Video/Marketing in the 2017 MarCom Awards, a Silver Winner for Service Line Promotions/Bariatric Services in the 2017 Aster Awards, a Bronze Winner for Consumer Web-based Video in the 2017 Digital Health Awards, an Honorable Mention for Web-based Production/Video/Medical External in the 2017 AVA Digital Awards and a Merit Winner for Digital Video in the 2017 Healthcare Advertising Awards contest.

Rush University Medical Center: Cancer Integrative Medicine Program Video

Rush Powers Media collaborated with multiple teams at Rush University Medical Center to create a video that explains what the Cancer Integrative Medicine Program is and why it is important and unique. The video includes testimonial interviews with patients, informational interviews with Rush clinicians and supporting b-roll footage. Our role in the project included project management, creative development, shooting and conducting all interviews, capturing reenactments and scenic b-roll, video storytelling and editing, and delivery of the video in a web-ready format. The video was a Gold Winner for Web-based Production/Video/Facility Overview in the 2017 AVA Digital Awards and an Honorable Mention for Web Video/Medical in the 2017 MarCom Awards.

The Center for Urban Education Leadership Promotional Video

Four years after producing their original promotional video, Rush Powers Media contracted with the Center for Urban Leadership (located within the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Education) to produce a new promotional video. Like the original, the updated video illustrates the Center’s mission and highlights recent success stories from the University’s doctoral program in Urban Education Leadership, which the Center supports. Our role in the project again included creative development, shooting, interviewing, graphics creation, video editing, and delivery of the finished video in web-ready/presentation format. The video was a Gold Winner for Digital Video in the 2016 Educational Digital Marketing Awards.

Rush Family Birth Center Video Series and Stories from the Rush NICU Video Series

Rush University Medical Center contracted with Rush Powers Media to produce two three-video series promoting their new Family Birth Center and their Neonatal Intensive Care services. Our role in the projects included creative development, shooting and conducting all interviews, capturing and directing reenactments, scenic b-roll and live facilities tests, gathering pre-existing photos, creating motion graphics, video storytelling and editing, and delivery of each clip in a web-ready format. The package of both series was a Gold Winner for Special Video Production/Series in the 2015 Aster Awards and an Award of Distinction Winner for Online Video/Web Series in the 2015 Communicator Awards. It also received an Honorable Mention for Video Production in the 2014 Pinnacle Awards from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations and an Honorable Mention for Web Video/Medical in the 2014 MarCom Awards.

Rush University Medical Center Interventional Platform Video Series

Rush Powers Media partnered with Rush University Medical Center’s marketing team to create a 13-video series used to promote their Interventional Platform through social media and on their website. Our role in the project included project management, creative development, shooting and conducting all interviews, capturing and directing live procedures, reenactments and scenic b-roll, creating motion graphics, video storytelling and editing, and delivery of each clip in a web-ready format. The series was a Platinum Winner for Web Video/Medical in the 2014 MarCom Awards competition. Part of the series, the “Treating Heart Attacks at Rush” video was a Silver Winner for Special Video Production – Single in the 2014 Cardiovascular Advertising Awards. The series was also a Bronze Winner for Special Video Production in the 2015 Service Industry Advertising Awards contest and a Merit Winner for Digital Video in the 2015 Healthcare Advertising Awards competition.

University of Illinois at Chicago College of Education Teacher Recruitment Video

Rush Powers Media contracted with the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago to produce a teacher recruitment video. The video features testimonial interviews from many of the College’s alumni and footage from a variety of Chicago Public Schools and UIC classrooms. Our role in the project included creative development, shooting, interviewing, graphics creation, video storytelling, video editing, and delivery of the finished video. It was a Bronze Winner for Digital Video in the 2014 Educational Digital Marketing Awards.

Rush University Medical Center Find-a-Doctor Profile Videos

Rush Powers Media is collaborating with Rush University Medical Center’s marketing team to produce 30-to-60-second video clips for each doctor at the hospital. These videos bring each physician’s credentials and personality to life and accompany their Find-a-Doctor online profile. Our responsibilities on the project include appointment scheduling coordination and project management, as well as shooting and interviewing each doctor, editing each interview into a clip for review, supervising the review process, and delivering the final version of each doctor’s clip in a web-ready format. This highlight reel demonstrates a sampling of the different types of the more than 425 doctors that have participated in the project thus far. This campaign was awarded Best Healthcare Provider Online Video in the 2012 Internet Advertising Competition and Merit Honor for Healthcare Services Special Video Production in the 2012 Service Industry Advertising Awards. In 2013, it earned an Award of Distinction for Online Video Nonprofit from the Communicator Awards, a Bronze for Hospitals with More Than 500 Beds Special Video Production from the Aster Awards, a Merit Honor for Hospitals with More Than 500 Beds Special Video Production from the Healthcare Advertising Awards and an Honorable Mention for Web Video/Medical from the Marcom Awards. In 2014, it received an Honorable Mention for Best Interview Video from Ragan Health Care Marketing and PR Awards and, along with the “Finding a Doctor at Rush” video series, it was a Silver Winner for Hospitals with More Than 300 Beds Consumer Web-based Resources/Tool. It also received an Honorable Mention for Video Production in the 2014 Pinnacle Awards from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America/UPS Road Code Kickoff Video

Rush Powers Media worked in collaboration with creative agency Marketing Support Inc. to produce a kickoff video for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America/UPS Road Code initiative. Our role included creative development, illustration, motion graphics creation, voice-over recording, audio/video/music editing and delivery of the finished video. It was named the Winner of the 2013 Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship Film Festival and a Gold Winner in the 2012 MarCom Awards competition.
